Sarah, nineteen, is pulled into a dangerous world when her little brother is kidnapped by demons who live under the surface of our world. She must find a way to get him back before time runs out, navigating seemingly ever-growing tunnels and underground cities.

Along the way she meets a group of human children, in hiding from the demons, and together they work to reunite her and her brother.
