Sophie goes on a date with a guy she meets online, and it goes really well! They hit it off and she’s excited for their second date. He’s got an intense job so it’s hard to schedule, but he seems really into her over text.

Walking home late after work on day, Sophie sees something she shouldn’t. When she goes to the authorities she realizes it’s bigger than she thought, and she’s forced into witness protection for her own safety. Leaving her world behind, one of her biggest regrets is the romance that could have become more.

Three years later Sophie, now going by Eliza, is feeling adrift. She’s made some friends, moved to a new city, and all in all she can’t really complain about where she’s ended up.

When her new bestie sets her up on a blind double date, she doesn’t think much of it. Walking into the restaurant and seeing the same man she ghosted three years ago, who knows her true identity, wasn’t at all what she expected.

What will Eliza do now that she has a second chance with the one who got away?
