I always have a project on my mind—whether that be writing, home decor/improvement, or crochet. Most of the time this is a good thing, but it can become overwhelming. I thought I would outline some of the goals I have for the next few months to give you a snapshot of what I’ve been up to and what I’m planning to write next (and the projects that often distract me from my writing).
June
- Release The Spiraling
- Finish outline of sci-fi thriller I am writing with my husband
- Finish editing 2nd draft of new romantasy novel
- Outline superhero-inspired romance (check out my Tiktok account for daily progress!)
- Outline cult short story for anthology submission
- Crochet custom Christmas stockings for my family
July
- Work on first draft of sci-fi thriller WIP
- Outline Book 2 of Tunsealiorian Saga
- Final edits on ghost story for anthology
- Finish custom stockings
- Paint the trim in my husband’s home office (finally, it’s only been two years)
August
- Work on first draft of Book 2 of Tunsealiorian Saga
- Begin outline sci-fi magic novel I am writing with my husband
- Finish cult short story & submit to anthology
- Query romantasy novel
- Begin crochet Christmas gifts (I need many months to get these done)
September
- Work on first draft of Book 2 of Tunsealiorian Saga
- Work on first draft of sci-fi thriller WIP
- Outline sci-fi ghosts WIP I am writing with my husband
- Outline sequel to romantasy (different characters, same universe)
- Paint the trim on the stairs (again, finally)
October
- Begin editing first draft of Book 2 of Tunsealiorian Saga
- Work on first draft of sci-fi thriller WIP
- Work on sci-fi magic WIP
- Paint the spare bedroom (I should have done this months ago, yay)
Looking at this now… we’ll see if I get half of this done. There are some priority projects in here so I’ll focus on those and we’ll see how far we get!
